It is basically unnecessary to go for a college which is famous for hypocrisy but not for its conduct. Let me tell you or rather let me WARN you, there are many colleges like that and many of these could prove fatal to your career and ultimately to your life...Its foolish to compromise significant years of your life for something that you never expected. I know a lot such people who even after graduation can't really call themselves graduate because the college didn't acknowledge them in some or the other way, you too might be acquainted with some such guys.The best way to prevent oneself from entering such scenario is by getting personal while checking for colleges first hand. How to check? Well here you could be helped by websites...

• Every college in this era of internet connectivity is online these days, so its obvious that every college has its 'official website'.
• Now its not optional, its necessary for anyone to check the websites of respective colleges that you have filled in as your choice or even if you consider inserting a name in your list, check that one out too.
• Normally every site has a few important niches to check for, like:

1. Fee structure
2. Institute infrastructure
3. Academic achievements of alumni
4. Reviews and comments by their students
5. Future scope recommended on their page

• These things are key to understanding the reality of a college because studies is not the only aspect of college life, its more than that.
• Anyway, sites like mine can also help you out with feedback on different colleges, you just need to follow us consistently on your behalf.
• Please do not try to resist yourself from searching about the college or course on distant learning as well, it is an option that can help your plans succeed for a long run career. It has helped many. I would soon be posting on that too.

• While checking websites, do not resist to enquire about any subject that bothers you enough to disturb you from choosing a better option.
• Check for the college on your level through different media, use internet, newspaper, elders and particularly peers and classmates from the school. Even teachers could be of great help.
• Come on, even not all IITs could claim perfection. There are a lot that matters beyond admission, fees and books because its a life that is not even close to your school experience.
• Bring in all your queries and desires about college life before registering your fate. Mark them, see if they really exist or its just your fantasy for a perfect college.
• Never hesitate to ask an ex-student from the particular college you are going for, if possible ask as many as possible.

The life of a student is not as easy as it seems. Once at college, it becomes more difficult to cut through the years, of course not for all but everyone is important enough to be brought into the light. The thing that scares me about college is that our minds get encrypted with these idealistic colleges like IITs and NITs that we hardly look deeply into the colleges that we deserve as per our preparation. A little investigation could help you get into a better college that might establish your future in the brightest way possible.
