There is always a great deal of gossip among the elders of our society regarding the job and pay of graduates and other degree holders. It is important for them to consider the issue of employment over the work that their children are doing. Here, I wish to share a parental mindset that I have find quite obvious but at the same time a bit quirky. Parents in our society especially North Indian, do not wish to let their child in open after 18 or even 20. In fact its soon after marriage that the knot of parenthood breaks and now, to all your surprise, you are free enough to make your own rules and these new people make rules totally from nowhere or lets say the absurd ones like sending their young ones to institutions by the age 3 which according to child psychology is not healthy for the kid. Parents are caught into this situation where most of them don't know what their child is doing, his work in particular that is its quality and quantity due to many different reasons like they are too busy to get better view at your job or, the most common one, the child himself doesn't know what his job is. Therefore, it is obvious for them to consider something they are sure about like your income and job status.Now, your college fees which is never a real theme of discussion also gets into the picture ones you start looking for normal or average colleges, not the famous or epic ones. Its all corrupted psychology you see, particularly in case of engineering and medical but whatsoever its hard to change anyway...
Job Quality...
- Colleges are famous due to their pay-offs or placement cells which provide better jobs and job opportunities.
- Every college has a placement cell which defines the purpose of the college. The best ones call great companies from both private as well as government sector.
- Most average colleges do not tell the true statistics about the placement process of their institute. This helps them to misguide teenagers into considering their college which after all becomes clear as one gets to know the college better.
- Quality of the job is also important for a graduate student, you may get to know about it if you ask your passed out seniors or elder graduates at their job.
- Some colleges pay a lot of attention to this and these colleges can be found by checking the reviews provided by alumni of the particular college.
- IITs, NITs and other famous institutions are easily considered as top priority because they guarantee a perfect and easy job. Its rather a fantasy. They are better not best of course but we get distracted and instead of proving ourselves start denying our ability to make millions by the end of last year.
- Yes, that is right, millions because no man is worth less than a million, what changes the fact is self-realization that makes you do all that is necessary to earn that million. So keep a keen eye if the college has a good and ultimate scope into your dream job.
- Its not at all necessary to go through placement for jobs instead there are several competitions that can lead you into a better one. But placement cell and statistics define the true approach of college in leading their students to their deserving place in society.
Budget...
- The tenure of your college life will be long enough to have sucked up some money. For those who think money is not a big deal I warn you to consider again because there are better ways to live your life at college.
- It is wise to get a better picture of college fees and your expenses and try to manage the chaos of that teen idea about money where you earn joy for each penny you spend.
- Nothing is different for college other than the first year which might seem a bit intimidating. Better is to try every possible approach to get into a responsible life before the geeks get into it.
- There is a huge advantage that mediocre can have over geeky IITans and their type and it is not as hard as it seems.
Jobs and colleges complete our life in much vivid way than we realize and its our responsibility to caress the game-changing fragments of our lives. Budget plays an important role as it determines the importance of money and how we relate it to our education. Lets bring home the best of ourselves so that from now on no one gets to judge what we deserve and what not. Life is a blessing, lets feel proud to be blessed.
